COVID-19 Camp Skills Session Protocols

REGISTRATION CHECK-IN

 

  • Please be sure you electronically signed/approved waivers and screening form in Team Snap before you arrive for your camp session

 

  • If your player is experiencing flu-like symptoms such as fever, cough, or shortness of breath, email admin@wclax.net and DO NOT ATTEND THE SESSION

 

  • Players need to have all of their own equipment with them- we cannot lend out equipment

 

  • Staff, coaches, and designated COVID coordinators will wear face masks (provided by WCLA) that cover the nose and mouth.  If a coach has to speak and participants can’t hear him/her, the coach will ensure 8 feet of distance and hold the mask in front of his/her face

 

  • Parents cannot congregate at Kelly Field.  Please drop player off curbside to be temperature screened; players should be 6 feet apart from each other while waiting in line

 

  • Player’s temperature will be screened and permitted to proceed down to Kelly Field if below 100.4 degrees 

 

  • Player’s will adhere to staggered check-in times, by last name at the entrance to The Sports Complex

CAMP SKILLS SESSION

 

  • Hand sanitizer is provided at the Kelly Field gate entrance and exit & frequent hand sanitization encouraged for Participants, staff, and coaches

 

  • Players enter at the side gate and exit at the main gate of Kelly Field

 

  • Participants will comply with the rules of no huddles; no pre-or post-activity 

in-person meetings, no handshakes, high-fives, fist-bumps or skin-to-skin contact

 

  • Assigned “cones”, numbered along for players to put equipment

 

  • 6  assigned cohorts will be formed with 8-10 Participants and 1 designated coach

 

  • Participants’ are not to touch lacrosse balls, only pick up lacrosse balls with their stick

 

  • All participants must bring own packed water or can purchase water, but cannot use other player’s water

 

  • At the gates, give players leaving the camp skills session the right of way
