2020 Spring Futures, Girls
The Futures program serves girls in preschool and kindergarten (ages 3-5) and focuses on age-appropriate lacrosse FUNdamentals including footwork, hand-eye coordination, and agility. Your young lacrosse players will have a blast during our weekly sessions that incorporate lacrosse skills with fun games that teach athletic coordination. If your child is new to Futures, they will receive a stick to keep at the first session. Please note, as we use tennis balls; no helmets, goggles or mouth guards are required. Players will receive a West Chester Lacrosse Association pinnie and fun prizes.
Coach Maddie Statska will continue to lead the weekly Futures sessions for the spring season. A former Bishop Shanahan and West Chester University field hockey and lacrosse captain and standout athlete, Maddie has been coaching and refereeing youth lacrosse with WCLA for seven years. Assisting Maddie are local lacrosse athletes with experience working with children.
Please feel free to contact Maddie Staska (firstname.lastname@example.org), WCLA Futures Coach or Amanda Gionfriddo, WCLA Girls Program Director (email@example.com) with any questions.
