West Chester Field Hockey is thrilled to announce the acquisition of Shock Field Hockey Club, now proudly rebranded as West Chester SHOCK.

​

We’re excited to honor the legacy Shock has built while creating new opportunities through the support of the West Chester Field Hockey community.  As part of this transition, we’re continuing the popular SHOCK Winter Indoor Program, offering teams at the U12, U14, U16, and U19 levels.  We’re also excited to share that the Shock coaching staff will remain on board, continuing to deliver top-tier, on-field instruction.

This exciting step forward allows us to unite the resources of both organizations to better serve our athletes and their families. We remain committed to SHOCK’s player-focused mission: combining a love of the game with high-level skill development.

PROGRAM DETAILS

West Chester SHOCK’s Winter Indoor Program 

• Indoor field hockey - fast paced played on a hard-surface court with sideboards

• 5 players + goalie

• Season - November 18 - Mid/Late February

• Off Thanksgiving week and Christmas/New Year’s week

• 4 local tournaments

• Roster spots first available to current SHOCK players, then open registration

• 2025-26 Teams: U12, U14, U16, U19

• Waitlist will be available once teams are filled

• Indoor and/or outdoor playing experience required - no tryouts for the 2025-26 season, but will have tryouts for the 2026-27 season

Training Nights:  Tuesday & Thursday Nights 

6:00 - 7:30pm

AGE GROUP VERIFICATION LINK

*** Before registering your player, please refer to the age group calculator HERE.   If you select the incorrect age group, you will be placed at the end of the que for the correct age group, so it’s imperative you select the correct group based off your player’s birthdate.

Field hockey shin guards

Mouth guard

Left hand glove (optional - but highly recommended)

COST

Field Player Registration Fee:  $1,245

Goalie Registration Fee:  $623

​

Two options to pay:

Pay in FULL or  HALF deposit + HALF due October 1, 2025.  All registration fees are non-refundable.

Uniforms not included in fee.  Families will receive an online store link with mandatory items to be ordered for the season.
