West Chester Lacrosse Association

West Chester Lacrosse Fall Skill Clinics is an instructional and fun lacrosse experience for boys in 1st-8th grades.  The curriculum is based first on stick skills and technique, then progressing to competition, team concepts, and games. Players will be grouped by age and ability level to ensure productive and efficient sessions.  

 

Coach Keith Belson will direct the Boys Fall Lacrosse Skills Clinic. Coach Keith played lacrosse at Strath Haven High School before playing for Saint Joseph’s University Varsity team. He brings 12 years of coaching experience from high school, club, and collegiate levels. He is currently an assistant varsity coach at The Haverford School where he also teaches English in their Upper School.The coaching staff will include an all-star staff of local college and high school lacrosse players.  Please contact Coach Keith (kbelson48@gmail.com) with specific fall skills clinic questions.

 

We will focus on individual and team skills, emphasizing both dominant and non-dominant stick skills and core defensive and offensive play at all levels.  Full pads, gloves, stick, and helmet are required to participate. Participants are asked to wear a reversible pinnie to the sessions. (There will be pinnies for sale at the field the first week of the clinic.)

Players outside of West Chester are welcome!  All skill levels are welcome!

Boys 1st/2nd and 3rd/4th grades:  1:00 PM - 2:00 PM

EQUIPMENT NEEDED

Players must bring full lacrosse pads, lacrosse gloves, helmet, mouth guard, lacrosse stick, athletic shoes, and water bottle.

If there are thunderstorms in the area, please remain close in the event we need to clear the fields. If a cancellation is necessary, we will update TeamSnap.  If we have to cancel a session due to weather, re-scheduling is not guaranteed and depends on available field space.
