WCLA WINTER PROGRAMS FOR 1ST - 8TH GRADE PLAYERS

 

Whether your player is an experienced club player or new to the game, we are excited to offer 2 programs this winter to keep your players in the lacrosse zone and prepared for the spring season!  Please note, our traditional Winter Skills Clinics at Rustin includes a full staff and is instructional, while the league play at USTC is strictly games/no instruction.

2025 Girls Lacrosse Winter Skills Clinic

Register today for our 2025 Girls Lacrosse Winter Skills Clinics to keep your players active during the winter months and recharge their lacrosse skills in preparation for the spring season!  The foundation of the clinic is high-level instruction to hone core fundamental skills in a fun environment.  Open to all beginners who want to try a new sport, as well as experienced players looking to cultivate their game!  Participating players will get tons of touches at each of the six sessions.  The clinics are an excellent opportunity to fine-tune stick skills.

 

Clinics are staffed with standout WCLA alumnae high school and collegiate players. Players will be separated by age and skill level to ensure appropriate coaching and efficient sessions. 

 

Space is limited!  Spots are on a first-come, first-served basis! 

Register early to guarantee your spot as this program fills quickly!

ELIGIBLE PLAYERS

Players in grades 1st - 8th (beginners - advanced)

Open to all registrants:  Players outside of West Chester are welcome!

DATES

Sundays

January 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th & February 2nd, 16th

NOTE- No session on February 9th!

(February 23rd will be used as a weather make up date if needed.)

TIMES

1st - 4th grades:  1:30 pm to 2:45 pm 

5th - 8th grades:  2:45 pm to 4:00 pm

LOCATION

Rustin High School Gymnasium

West Chester, PA 

​

EQUIPMENT

Lacrosse stick, goggles, mouth guard, sneakers, water bottle (and extra water)

Participants may NOT participate if they are not properly equipped. Coaches do not carry extra equipment.

COST

Early Registration Discount:  $225

Registration Fee:  $250 after 12/1/24​

*Please note, there are no guaranteed make-ups for weather-related cancellations. 

If a weather-related cancellation is necessary, we will update TeamSnap. Please check TeamSnap before leaving for the clinic.

LEAGUE LAYOUT

  • 6-Game season; games on Saturdays in the new dome at United Sports Training Center (USTC)

    • 1st-2nd Grade: 6v6

    • 3rd-4th Grade: 5v5

    • 5th-6th Grade: 5v5

    • 7th & 8th Grade: 5v5

  • Games will be two 20 min halves

    • October 1st – October 31st:  USTC Members $130; Non-Members $145

    • November 1st – December 31st: USTC Members $140; Non-Members $155

    • January 1st – January 15th:  USTC Members $170; Non-Members $185

  • Registration closes: January 15th 

  • Game Dates:  January 25, February 1, 8, 15, 22, 29, March 1
